Self-Portrait, 2020
In history, we often see light as a symbol of wisdom, the after-life, and the many definitions of higher powers. This is the crux of Fresco’s examination of the archetypes of light and the human relationship with freedom and life. We are born of darkness and our life from that point on is a journey of enlightenment.
Fresco’s photographic style draws inspiration from filmmakers such as Dario Argento, Stanley Kubrick, and Alfred Hitchcock as well as the twenty's cinema. He also draws inspiration from his post-graduate studies in Psychology and Philosophy. Fresco’s signature style has been featured in Vogue.com, the cover and pages of Rare Fashion Magazine & Children with Special Needs.
